Precise measuring is the first step for a precise fitting garment. For accuracy sake, do the measuring in your underwear or body suit - not over other clothing - using a flexible plastic tape measure. Follow the instructions below to obtain the four necessary body measurements.

Bust: With arms down at sides, measure the fullest part of the bust/chest, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.

Waist: Bend to one side to find the natural crease of your waist. Then, standing straight, make sure the tape fits comfortably around your waist.

Hips: with your feet together, measure the fullest part of the hips, ensuring the tape is parallel to the floor.

Girth: With someone's help, run the tape measure from the right shoulder near the neck, over the fullest part of the bust, down through the centre of the crotch, up your back to a similar point on the left shoulder. Keep the tape taut and not twisted.
