Impressions" has this make-up tip of the month: "Your make-up application
techniques take practice, just like your skating skills do.
You wouldn't go
out in front of the judges without first practicing your jumps and spins, and
likewise, you shouldn't wait until the big day before knowing how your make-up
should be
 put on. Well before the test and competitive year
start, ideally you should get a consultation, from someone that knows make-up
and arena lighting. Once you have your make-up plan, practice the application
several times at home, and then one day go to the arena and show your coach, to
get his or her approval.
By the time test day rolls around, you will have
more confidence knowing you are will prepared in every area." Better still;

There will be fee for this service and it will be by appointment only,
