Ready for that first Competition of the Season?
Can you believe it? The first competition of the season are only a month away!
You love your new solo and are looking forward to showing it off. The dress is beautiful and fits like a glove. But, there are still a couple of things that can set you apart from the crowd. The trick is in the details.
In terms of skating accessories, nothing beats clean shiny skates and laces. A clean pair of gloves for warm-up as well as a properly fitting sweater or cover-up can give you a more polished look. Hair accessories that complement your dress are a wonderful touch (it doesn't always have to be a scrunchie!)
Rhinestone Barrette At Dress Wright On Ice we carry any of the accessories you might be looking for including rhinestones barrettes and bobby pins in various colour, gloves and warm-up sweaters

Did you know?

Ask The Expert
Have a question for Linda? You can email her directly at linda@dresswright.com to get the answer.

In the mean time, here's Linda's tip of the month:

With each costume change should come a change in your eyeshadow, blush and lipstick choices, to ensure you are coordinated from head to toe. A commonly asked question is "What colour make-up should I wear?" Colour is an Accessory! If you are wearing red, choose something with red or coral tones. If wearing purple, you'll want to wear something in the mauve or pink tones.
