SARAH ARNOLD
Sarah is a Junior Competitive Ice Dancer who, along with her partner Christopher Steeves, trains at Mariposa Winter Club in Barrie, Ontario. Sarah has achieved a great deal in her 14 years of skating including becoming a Quadruple Gold Medalist and a Junior Ladies competitive skater. Having only started ice dancing in May 2007, she and Christopher went on to earn the silver medal in Jr. Ice Dance at the Western Challenge and placed 6th at Nationals in Vancouver January 2008. In addition to training on ice for 3 ˝- 4 hours a day and 1-2 hours of off ice training, Sarah attends Innisdale S.S. and would like to pursue a career in nursing. In addition to skating, school and working at Dress Wright On Ice, Sarah loves yoga and soccer. Her goal in skating and life is to make the Senior National team and to stay positive!
SARA-JANE GLOUTNEZ
Sara-Jane, who became a Junior Ladies competitive skater at the age of 15, has a passion for trick elements like death drops, Russian splits and variation spins! Representing COS and Streetsville Meadowvale FSC, Sara-Jane is a Quadruple Gold Medallist who has landed all of her triple jumps cleanly at least twice. She also has a passion for jump rope, pointe and snowboarding. Currently in Grade 12, Sara-Jane would like to be an author and go to school for athletic therapy. In addition to her time spent at Dress Wright On Ice, she also works at Meadowvale 4 Rinks, and has been doing a co-op at Hershey Centre with Mind to Muscle Athletic Therapy. Sara-Jane would like to get her Senior Competitive test and coach one day.

MICHELLE EGERTON
Michelle skates for Wendy Coatz and Saara Plukinin’s Gold Ice Senior Synchro High Performance team. What she loves most about skating is the team atmosphere (becoming a family almost) and the time spent bonding: which is a good thing because each week they spend 15 hours training on ice, 6 hours off ice and 5 hours in the gym! This hard work has resulted in a bronze medal from Synchro Junior Worlds in Switzerland, and a 4th place at Nationals (Senior) this past February. In addition to skating and work, Michelle is completing her third year of university studying Business and Marketing. Her goal in skating is to be on the podium at Senior Nationals and to qualify for Senior Worlds!
MICHAEL STEWART
Mike, along with his partner Monica Pisotta, is the 2008 Junior Pair National Champion of Canada!! Mike and Monica placed 8th at the 2008 World Junior Championships and are the 2006 Pre-Novice Pairs National Champions. Training at the Mariposa Winter Club in Barrie, Mike spends 25 – 35 hours per week with on and off ice training. He also attends the University of Toronto working toward a degree in Physical Education and Health (Kinesiology). Understandably, Mike loves all sports, including biking, hockey and baseball. His dream goal is to make it to the Olympics.
